As part of her bid to unseat incumbent Douglas County Commissioner George Teal, Democrat Angela Thomas is asking for debates. She has challenged Teal to four of them, asking that they also be streamed, ahead of the November election.
“Douglas County is facing exploding growth and the challenges that brings,” Thomas said in
her challenge statement. “Our county commission has responded with dysfunction and a failure to strategically address the needs of our citizens.” - Douglas County News-Press
