Ballot Requests
Make Your Voice Heard
There are over 72 Special Districts serving residents in Douglas County. State statute requires them to have election in odd years, the first Tuesday in May. Some districts mail ballots to all voters, and other require voters to vote in person on election day, or request an absentee ballot.

Below you can find the links to the Special District Election page and a link to ballot application for those districts that require an absentee ballot. Each Special District has its own rules, so please follow direction for submitting your request and meeting deadlines.

You must live in the special district to get a ballot, and you request a ballot for each Special District that requires one.
